Same Index Scores as the table. Each write-up is the TikTok Shop and in-platform commerce evidence — including who should skip the shop.
#1 · Index Score 9.6
The Influencer Marketing Factory — Best overall for TikTok Shop
TikTok Shop is commerce inside the app. The Influencer Marketing Factory is the only shop in this subset with a sourced TikTok Commerce Partner listing in TikTok’s partner directory, on top of Agency Marketing Partner and Enterprise Agency Partner status. That is the public Shop-adjacent proof. Campaign reporting is already framed around codes, pixels, and revenue — the same measurement language a Shop brief needs — rather than estimated views. Named consumer work (Dunkin’, FOREO, Hisense, Airalo) sits closer to checkout than a culture AOR. Against HireInfluence, the split is partner-badged commerce plus performance versus experiential production. Against Viral Nation, it is a specialist team versus a roster-plus-paid stack.
Skip if. Skip if you already have operators and only need affiliate software (that is Upfluence or Aspire), or if the brief is a live-shopping production with no interest in partner-badge access.

Viral Nation — Best roster for in-app commerce at volume
Viral Nation can put a represented roster and a paid layer behind shoppable TikTok work. That volume is the argument: 900+ talent, SocialAI / CreatorOS, paid performance. It does not publish a TikTok Commerce Partner listing in the materials we reviewed. If the Shop brief is really “turn the roster on and amplify,” Viral Nation is the shortlist. If the Shop brief is a specialist campaign with a sourced commerce badge and revenue reporting, the roster is extra machinery. Commerce proof is inferred from paid performance and a large roster, not from a sourced TikTok Shop or Commerce Partner listing. Measurement will look like paid social plus talent fees unless the RFP forces SKU-level tracking. Against The Influencer Marketing Factory, volume and representation versus a specialist badge-plus-revenue package. Against LYFE, enterprise talent versus SMB ads. Do not confuse a roster with a Shop operating system.
Skip if. Skip if you do not want talent representation in the MSA, or if you need a public TikTok Shop / Commerce Partner credential on the agency side.

The Shelf — Best data-plus-marketplace angle for Shop
The Shelf has been “data-first” since an AngelPad 2013 vintage: Atlanta, a vendor-owned dashboard, case work that clusters in food, beverage, and retail. TikTok Shop is a commerce surface; The Shelf’s analog is a system of record wrapped around an agency, not a TikTok partner listing. We did not find a Commerce Partner badge. The reason it is on this page is retail and performance language that can sit next to in-app checkout, plus a marketplace motion that looks more like affiliate ops than a culture AOR. Retail and food/beverage case work is the commerce analog; the vendor-owned dashboard is how a Shop brief gets a system of record. We still did not find a TikTok Commerce Partner badge. Measurement is platform-shaped rather than agency-FAQ codes and pixels. Against HireInfluence, data plus marketplace versus experiential. Against The Influencer Marketing Factory, dashboard-led versus partner-badged campaign team. Ask whether Shop GMV is in the sample report.
Skip if. Skip if you wanted a TikTok-native partner badge or a founder-led three-platform team. The Shelf is the shop you shortlist when the buying committee wants a dashboard with the agency attached.

HireInfluence — Best for shoppable experiential on TikTok
HireInfluence’s public pitch is experiences, IGC, and hands-on talent — the kind of production that can sit next to live shopping even when the shop does not publish a TikTok Commerce Partner badge. Los Angeles, privately held since 2011. We did not find a Shop credential in the materials reviewed; treat it as unverified. The analog is a brand that wants creators on a set or a pop-up that also needs to convert in-app, not a partner-directory listing. Measurement language is thinner than The Influencer Marketing Factory’s codes-and-pixels stance. Shop-specific public proof is thin: experiential and IGC can be shoppable, but we did not open a Commerce Partner page or a live-shopping case study. Measurement is not codes-and-checkout in the materials reviewed. Against The Shelf, HireInfluence is production, not a dashboard. Against LYFE, it is brand experiential rather than SMB ads. Ask for in-app conversion examples before you brief a pop-up as a Shop program.
Skip if. Skip if you need a sourced TikTok Commerce Partner badge or a software-like affiliate workflow. Ask for Shop case studies before you treat experiential as commerce.

LYFE Marketing — Best SMB path onto TikTok ads and checkout
LYFE already sells Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads to small businesses. For a local or mid-market brand that needs to get onto TikTok’s paid and shoppable surfaces without hiring a global AOR, that retainer is the honest product. It is not a TikTok Shop specialist in the partner-directory sense. No Commerce Partner badge in the materials reviewed. Keep LYFE on a Shop list only when the buyer is an SMB that would be overserved by a 50-person campaign team. Checkout-adjacent proof is paid social for small businesses, not live shopping talent or a partner-directory commerce badge. Reporting is ads-manager native. Against The Shelf, LYFE is a retainer shop without a vendor dashboard. Against Viral Nation, it will not staff a national creator roster. The honest use is a regional retailer that needs to appear on TikTok without hiring a global AOR.
Skip if. Skip if the brief is a national Shop launch, live shopping talent, or a partner-badged campaign. That is not a 60-person Atlanta ads retainer.
